May Session Topic
Restoring Capacity & Building Sustainable Ministry Teams
May 7th at 9:00 AM PST
1hr Zoom Session with Live Q&A!
Ministry is your calling, but carrying the weight of people, systems, and day-to-day operations can stretch even the healthiest teams thin.
The Grow Together Cohort is a recurring quarterly event designed for ministry leaders who want to build stronger teams, healthier rhythms, and more sustainable ministries. Each cohort will focus on a timely topic facing churches and ministry organizations today, offering practical guidance you can put into action right away.
Our first session in May will help leaders identify the signs of strain before burnout takes hold and create a healthier path forward for both staff and volunteers.
Who it’s for
This cohort is for leaders serving in:
- Pastoral Leadership
- Ministry Operations
- Business Operations
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Payroll
- Administration
- Ministry Personnel wearing multiple hats
Whether you lead a department, support the day-to-day work of ministry, or carry several responsibilities at once, this session is designed to give you practical support for real ministry challenges.
Restoring Capacity and Building Sustainable Ministry Teams
Sustained health and effectiveness don’t happen by accident. They require intentional leadership.
In this session, we’ll equip ministry operations leaders with practical, people-centered strategies to recognize early signs of burnout, address workload challenges, and establish rhythms that support both staff and volunteers over the long term.
You’ll walk away with actionable tools to strengthen team resilience, clarify expectations, and cultivate a culture where meaningful impact and a sustainable pace can coexist. Whether you’re facing current capacity challenges or proactively investing in your team’s longevity, this conversation will help you lead with clarity, steadiness, and long-term vision.
You’ll gain:
- Practical tools you can apply right away
- Real ministry scenarios that reflect today’s challenges
- Clear action steps for supporting both staff and volunteers
- Live Q&A with our team at the end of the session
In many ministry environments, strain can be easy to miss.
When the people on your team also attend the church, serve in the church, raise their families in the church, and build friendships in the same community, the lines between work, worship, relationships, and responsibility can start to blur. For many ministry leaders, that can create a sense of always being “on,” with very little space to pause, recover, or reset.
This session will help leaders better recognize how overload shows up, even when a team appears fine on the surface, and respond with wisdom, care, and practical next steps.
